UniAB is designed to help Shopify merchants make smarter pricing decisions through automated A/B price testing. We built this app to eliminate the guesswork around pricing and give store owners a simple, data-driven way to find the most profitable price point for any product.
1. Set up a Test campaign in UniAB
Step 1: General
- In the General section, enter a name for your test (e.g., “Price testing for Collection Snowboard”)
- Set the Start time for when you want the campaign to begin.
- Optionally, set an End time if you want the test to stop at a specific point. If left blank, the test will run continuously.
Step 2: Add Products and Set Prices
- Under Pricing settings, click Add products.
- Select the product(s) you want to test.
- For each product:
- Original price (A) – Product’s current price.
- Variant price (B) – The test price you want to compare.

Tip: Try to test prices that are meaningfully different to generate clear insights.

Step 3: Set Traffic split
In the Traffic group section, use the slider to decide how to divide visitor traffic:
- Slide left to give more traffic to Original price (A).
- Slide right to give more traffic to Variant price (B).
- Example: 50% / 50% split is recommended for balanced tests.
